Last Sunday, June 10th, in Florence, Italy, Bruce Springsteen played at the Artemio Franchi  football stadium to 43,000 people.  At first the weather was nice – mild, early summer weather but then the rain came.  To begin with, it was just a light rain but then the heavens opened and it poured.  And poured and poured.

Undaunted, the crowd stayed for a full three and a half hours to hear Bruce and his E Street band.  They bopped and sang and danced and Bruce came out from the shelter of the stage to perform more than one song, including this rendition of the Beatles’ standard, Twist ‘n’ Shout.

A great time was had by all…
